Maja Karlsson is a community police officer at the Jönköping County Police Authority and was awarded the title of Young Leading Woman of the Year 2023. Maja plays a central role in strengthening collaboration between the police and other community stakeholders. She is known for her systematic and goal-oriented approach to crime prevention, as well as her active efforts to increase safety and reduce crime. Through her dedication and focus on relationship-building, she has successfully enhanced the police’s trust among various target groups.
