Michael J. Maniaci, M.D. is the Enterprise Medical Director of Virtual Care at the Mayo Clinic Center for Digital Health and the current Medical Director of Mayo Clinic Hospital in Florida.

He currently holds the academic rank of Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He has a passion for innovation and technology in the medical field and is recognized as leader in faculty development for the teaching of simulation medicine. His current focus is developing the Advanced Care at Home program and the Care Hotel program, Mayo Clinic’s first expansion into the virtual home hospital and surgical aftercare realm.
